BFZ Electric is a Connecticut-based electrical contractor focused on ground-up construction, with a strong presence in multifamily, adaptive reuse, and commercial projects. We take pride in being a reliable partner that shows up, follows through, and supports the success of every job.
We get involved early, work closely with project teams, and deliver clean, coordinated installs from start to finish. Our in-house design team and prefabrication shop allow us to plan ahead, reduce onsite labor, and keep projects moving.
Our approach is simple: communicate clearly, stay organized, and execute at a high level. Built from the field up, our team brings real-world experience into every phase, helping solve problems early and avoid issues down the line. The result: smoother projects, stronger communication, and work that speaks for itself.
BFZ Electric works directly with general contractors, developers, and property owners to bring projects from idea to energized reality. Our client-first mentality means we listen before we recommend, communicate clearly, and stay responsive when plans change in the field. That approach—combined with consistently delivering safe, high-quality electrical work—has earned us repeat business and long-term partnerships across Connecticut.
Since 2004, BFZ Electric has grown alongside the general contractors and developers we work with. From multi-building residential campuses to adaptive reuse and commercial work, we’re expanding our team, investing in more space, and taking on bigger, more complex projects. The best projects start with an early conversation. If you have something in planning, we’d like to hear about it.
Our core values aren’t just a poster on the wall. We hire by them, we lead by them, and we hold each other to them every day.
